Her passion for nursing was cultivated at the renowned Duquesne University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The hands-on training and rigorous academic curriculum at Duquesne laid a solid foundation, enabling Cara to develop her clinical skills and nurture a compassionate approach to patient care. Driven by a desire to make a greater impact, Cara furthered her education at her alma mater, completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Duquesne University.

Cara began her career in family medicine, where each day presented new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. However, as rewarding as this work was, Cara felt a growing curiosity about the untapped potential of integrated health practices.

Transitioning from traditional medicine, she embraced the world of Optimal Health Medicine, driven by a belief in treating individuals holistically. Her journey included over 100 hours of specialized training, culminating in an Advanced BHRT Certification from World Link Medical.
